Yeoman Bontrup

Western Scotland - July 2010

The YEOMAN BONTRUP was a large self-discharging bulk carrier which suffered a fire and spectacular explosion at a remote berth on the West Coast of Scotland. TMC attended the salvage from the berth on behalf of Underwriters. After the fire was extinguished, the heavily damaged vessel was towed to Holland where TMC assisted the Owners and their Underwriters with the preparation of the invitation to tender for repairs and the technical appraisal of the offers subsequently received.
