Matthew Bailey - Marine Engineer

Prior to joining TMC, Matthew served on board large container vessels, progressing from Engineering Cadet to Chief Engineer. He brings over 14 years of maritime industry experience, supported by a Chief Engineer Unlimited III/2 Certificate of Competency (MCA), and extensive expertise in slow and medium-speed engines, high-voltage power plants, and waste heat recovery systems.

On completion of his seagoing career, he transitioned into a shore-based role, where he managed the technical operations of two high-speed passenger craft. This provided him with specialist experience in high-speed propulsion systems, including multi-engine configurations, drivetrains, and waterjet propulsion technology.
