Ivelin joined TMC (Marine Consultants) Ltd in January 2019, having worked previously on board a variety of vessels (Bulk carrier, OBO, Coaster, Container and MPP) as deck officer, Chief Officer and one year in command of MPP and containers vessels. He has experience carrying a wide variety of cargos including container, project cargos, iron ore, grain, steel, wood, coal, oil and cement.

After coming ashore Ivelin worked as Safety officer / deputy DPA & CSO in a company operating feeder container vessels and a MPP vessel. During this period his main duties were conducting internal ISM & ISPS audits, carry out internal inspections in order to prepare and ready vessels for third party inspections.

Then he was promoted to Operations Manager in the same company where he was responsible to manage vessels in accordance with settled commercial agreements which included; dry dock arrangements, annual budgets, liaising with third party claims and handling them with P&I and H&M underwriters.
